What HomeView works with
HomeView controls accessories that support Works with Apple Home (HomeKit) or Matter, including Apple's new Home Collection made with LG and Schneider Electric.
Cameras need HomeKit Secure Video for the recording history, person and package detection on HomeView, and that needs an iCloud+ plan.
The wall-mounted model comes without mount, cable and power adapter. Schneider Home makes three mounts: USB-C, wired to mains, and PoE from early 2027.

Does HomeView work with Matter?
Yes. Apple says HomeView works with accessories that support Works with Apple Home or Matter, and it has Thread built in.
Do I need iCloud+ for cameras on HomeView?
For the recording history and smart detection, yes. 50 GB covers one camera, 200 GB up to five and 2 TB any number.
What do I need for the wall-mounted HomeView?
A Schneider Home Power Mount, plus for the USB-C mount a USB-C cable and an adapter with at least 20 W (9 V / 2.22 A). None of it is in the box.
Can I buy HomeView in Germany?
Not yet. Apple doesn't sell it in the EU because Siri AI isn't available on iOS there. A HomePod mini or Apple TV 4K is the home hub instead.
