How to put it on HomeView
- Make it herePick a template above, write a short line and download the light and the dark PNG.
- Add it to a shared albumOn your iPhone, open Photos, create a shared album (for example “HomeView”) and add the images.
- Pick the Photos faceOn HomeView, choose the Photos face and select that album. Everyone you invite to the album can add pictures too.

Why a square wallpaper
Most photos are 4:3 or 16:9. On a square screen they get cropped at the sides, and text in a photo often lands in the cut.
A wallpaper made at 1088 × 1088 fills the screen exactly. Notchwerk keeps text and details in the middle, where the time and widgets of the face leave room.
HomeView sits on a kitchen counter or in a hallway and is seen from across the room. Calm templates like Aura, Horizon or Topo read well at that distance, busy patterns don't.
Is HomeView available in Germany and the EU?
Not yet. Apple announced HomeView on 13 October 2026 for the US, Canada, the UK, Australia, New Zealand, India, Singapore and South Africa, from 13 November. It isn't sold in the EU because Siri AI isn't available on iOS there.

What size is an Apple HomeView wallpaper?
1088 × 1088 pixels. That is the native resolution of HomeView's 7-inch square screen, the same on the tabletop and the wall-mounted model.
Can HomeView switch between a light and a dark image?
Apple hasn't said that the Photos face follows light and dark mode. Put the version you like in the album, or both and let the face rotate through them.
Can I use my iPhone wallpaper on HomeView?
It works, but an iPhone wallpaper is tall and narrow, so HomeView shows only a square slice of it. Make a separate square version here.
Does the wall-mounted HomeView have the same screen?
Yes. Both models have the same 7-inch 1088 × 1088 display.
