About this style

The Terminal template above draws a quiet shell session in IBM Plex Mono. Write your own line, for example a team rule or the name of the project you are shipping, and it appears as the output of a command.
The dark palettes borrow from popular editor themes: green Phosphor and orange Amber for the classic CRT look, Dracula and Nord for people who already use them in their editor. The light palettes such as Paper or Solar suit daytime work next to a light IDE theme.
For hardware and engineering work, Blueprint and Cutting Mat are the other two templates people with a technical eye tend to pick.

Questions and answers
Which font does the terminal wallpaper use?
IBM Plex Mono, a monospaced typeface made for code. Every letter has the same width, like in a real terminal.
Can I match my editor theme?
Pick the closest palette, or set the background and text color yourself under Light and Dark with the color pickers.
Will it look sharp on a 5K display?
Yes. Pick Studio Display or iMac under Your device and the image is rendered at that resolution, so the type stays crisp.
